Moose
Class: Mammalia
Order: Artiodactyla
Family: Cervidae
Habitat: The moose lives in the northen cold parts of the coniferous forests. Thise parts include Maine, Alaska, New Hampshire and Vermont. The moose also stays near ponds and streams because of it' diet of aquatic plants.
Food: The moose's main diet consists of leaves, moss, shrubs and aquatic plants where there is no snow on the ground or trees. When there is snow, food is hard to find so the moose must rely on bark, dead grass, and smaller branches.

Black Bear

Family: Ursidae
Habitat: The black bear lives in all parts of the coniferous froest. In the forest, they will move to wherever their may be food. If a mother has cubs, however, she will not stray far from them, even if there is not a lot of food.
Food: I could spend a lot of time typing up all of the different things that the Black Bear eats, but since thats a long list, lets just say that the Black Bear would eat almost anything that is in front of it.

Bald Eagle
Class" Aves
Order: Falconiformes
Family: Accipitridae
Habitat: The bald eagle lives in almost any part of the taiga forest, as long as there is a body of water nearby, becuase of its diet of fish. Since the winters are too cold, the bald eagle usally migrates during the winter.
Food: The bald eagle likes mostly fish, but if it has to, it will eat rabbits, squirrels, water fowl, waders, puffins, or rats.

Woodpeckers
